Auto REVIEW is a motoring show which has been on the air since May 1994. It is aired every Saturday 130- 2pm on the National Broadcasting Network NBN 4 (also on Sky Ch 6 and Destiny Ch 8.
The show covers almost everything about cars, travel, motorsports and adventure. Some of its most memorable coverages include the test drive of the Popemobile (1995) before it was turned over to the Archbishop’s Palace, the Australian Safari (1997) and the climb at Ayer’s Rock (Mt. Uluru), the Tokyo Motorshow (since 1995- 2007), the Detroit Auto Show, the Australian and Malaysian F1 Grands Prix, the Rainforest Challenge Malaysia, and several car launches and test drives here and abroad.
Since 2004, Auto REVIEW has chosen road safety as its advocacy and has held the Auto REVIEW Run for Road Safety & Courtesy twice (2004 and 2007) to promote road safety awareness, courtesy and discipline among road users. It is staging its 3rd edition of the event at McKinley Hill in Taguig City on May 24, 2009.
Auto REVIEW has been a recipient of five Henry Ford Motoring Journalism Awards (from 2001 to 2008) and the Nissan Best TV Feature and Best Story Awards (2005). Its teams have also won a number of adventure and driving events such as the Isuzu cross country drives, Toyota Road Treks, Ford’s No Boundary and topped many fuel economy runs conducted by Honda and Isuzu.
