The world now seems to have been a bit complicated compared to three years ago as the Honda BR-V just has to contend with stiffer competition. Now that other players in its segment have caught up with the beloved crossover, this little SUV further arms itself with updated features as it jousts with others in the fray.
The market seemed to have been captivated with the seven-seater utility vehicle segment that Toyota came up with the Rush, Mitsubishi with its Xpander and Suzuki with a bigger and more stylish Ertiga.
Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) meantime kept the BR-V’s sporty profile but further tweaked its design and functionalities to the delight of its loyal patrons.

“Inside, this adorable mover gets minor changes in the cabin with the top-tier rocking new leather, scattered stylish red accents all over with a twist of a fresh “Dark Steel” interior tinge exuding that snazzy appeal. It features a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, now Android Auto- and Apple CarPlay-capable.”

Upfront, the BR-V puts on a brave face with its enhanced front grille that features a couple of chrome strips perfectly paired to its protruding logo. The 1.5 V CVT variant gets sole VIP treatment with headlights now sporting LED daytime running lights. Front and rear bumpers get modish complementing its improved 201mm ground clearance, while new slick 16-inch alloy wheels further add to its new found bravado.
