CHERY Auto Philippines continues to post record sales amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the incessant monsoon rains. The brand’s vehicle sales last July grew 122% higher than in the same month last year. While the first seven months of 2021 surpassed the full-year sales of 2020 by 42%.
The figures reflect the fast-growing demand for the brand’s range of stylish and full-featured crossovers. At the top is the all-new CHERY Tiggo 7 PRO compact SUV, followed closely by the subcompact Tiggo 2, next is the Tiggo 8 7-seater midsize SUV, and the subcompact Tiggo 5X.
“The highly encouraging positive results came from a combination of factors led by the growing awareness of the CHERY brand and the high value buyers get from our feature-packed crossovers,” declared CHERY Auto Philippines president Rommel Sytin.
“The intermittent lockdowns and the relentless heavy rains underscore the importance of mobility more than ever and people are really searching for products that give maximum value and mobility for their hard-earned money. Our high-riding Tiggo models with water-wading depths as much as 600mm meet all their needs,” Sytin added.
