Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), the local automobile arm of the Honda brand in the country, provided 18 cars to several hospitals and medical facilities in the province of Laguna and Cavite. This comes after the government’s announcement of re-implementing the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in select areas.
The transportation support includes Honda’s latest product offerings, namely: City, Brio, Jazz, Civic, Mobilio, BR-V, HR-V, and CR-V. The company also assured frontliners that they need not worry about spending money on using these cars, as Honda will shoulder gasoline expenses for the duration of the MECQ. All cars are to provide shuttle services to seven hospitals in around Laguna and Cavite area:
- The Medical City South Luzon (Santa Rosa, Laguna)
- Unihealth-Southwoods Hospital and Medical Center (Biñan, Laguna)
