Morris Garages Philippines has announced more stringent safety protocols with regards to the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of each brand new MG unit, placing the safety of its clients at the forefront of the business in light of COVID-19 pandemic.

The company’s PDI raises the existing safety and hygiene practices of all MG dealerships as all units will undergo a non-toxic, disinfection treatment procedure targeting the removal of bacteria, spores, mold, and micro-organisms in air conditioning system. All car cabins including ventilation systems, carpets, cushions, and bedding will also be subjected to fumigation using an atomized anti-bacterial solution for long-term protection against the regeneration of germs. MG owners may also avail of this treatment by simply bringing their cars to selected dealerships nationwide.

Aside from their PDI, MG dealerships currently have enhanced safety measures in keeping their showroom floor, service bays, and admin offices free from viral traces, bacteria, and contaminants. As the first batch of MG dealerships now scheduled to open and offer services to their customers, all facilities will strictly follow the imposed health guidelines as well as proper social distancing practices.

The following hygiene and sanitation protocols are established in all MG dealerships:
-Footpad disinfectants at entrances of main showrooms and service workshops
-Available hand sanitizer dispensers around the admin offices and showroom floor
-Regular scanning of body temperature scanning for all clients and personnel before entering the dealership
-Scheduled vehicle and parts delivery (with disinfection)
-Appointment-based service transactions
-Sanitized consultation area for clients
-Daily and weekly sanitation schedule of the entire facility
